As we approach many questions on the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) we would like to inform you on our decision with our centers.
We usually follow the MDCPS policy on opening and closing during natural emergencies and disasters. However, since this is a very difficult situation, we have considered that parents are still in need of childcare while they work and since our center is not as big as MDCPS we have decided that we will stay OPEN only for our regular students as long as we are able to do it on a safe way. We will continue to work on a action plan on a daily basis.
Since the start of this horrible outbreak, we have increased the frequency of sanitation on all commonly touched surfaces. All students that show any signs of illness are being sent home and require a physician's clearance.
Meni-ninho Meni-ninha has been in constant communication with all the pertinent agencies for updated information.
As for our most recent meetings, Meni-ninho Meni-ninha will follow intructions provided by the Florida Department of health and DCF. Meaning that the closing of Miami Dade County Public Schools will not constitute a closure of Meni-ninho Meni-ninha.
For now, the centers will remain fully operational and open.
As for questions bout tuition, all tuition payments are still expected to be met by their due dates. We are open.
As more news and developments come to light, we will keep you informed and up to date. We ask all our families to follow the guidelines provided by the CDC for social distancing, proper hygiene, travel guidelines, level notices, and staying home if one feels ill.
Please visit the www.CDC.gov/coronavirus website for further reading and information. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
